The Del Ray Montessori School is a non-profit Montessori School located in the quaint Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, we are associated and recognized by AMI/USA (Association Montessori International). Founded in 2011, we serve children ages 18 months through age 12 and their families in the DC metropolitan area.
As a small, independent school, we continually strive to grow and enhance the experience we offer our students. Tuition covers only a portion of the true cost of a Montessori education. The Growing Together Annual Fund bridges the gap—supporting teacher development, ensuring AMI accreditation, enriching classroom environments, and maintaining our beautiful learning spaces.
Every contribution, at every level, has a direct impact on our children. Like a forest, our community grows stronger when every seed takes root.

The Growing Together Annual Fund is the annual fundraising campaign conducted by the Development Committee to directly benefit the children, teachers, programs, and facilities here at The Del Ray Montessori School.
Our first goal for the Growing Together Annual Fund is 100% parent participation for each fiscal year, which runs July 1 to June 30. Strong participation by families and key stakeholders demonstrates that our community supports and believes in the mission and vision of DRMS. This helps attract external funding from foundations and corportations.
You will receive a thank you letter with your gift information. Each gift, unless designated anonymous, will be listed in our Annual Report, published each year to recognize our generous donors.
DRMS is a 501(c)(3) corporation and your gift to the Growing Together Annual Fund is tax-deductible.
The school accepts checks, credit cards, and cash donations. Gifts of cash or check, made payable to The Del Ray Montessori School, can be mailed or delivered directly to the Office. Gifts made by credit card can be completed online.
You can maximize your Growing Together Annual Fund gift by spreading it out over the fiscal year! Simply select “monthly” here when choosing your gift amount!
