The Del Ray Montessori School is a non-profit Montessori School located in the quaint Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, we are associated and recognized by AMI/USA (Association Montessori International). Founded in 2011, we serve children ages 18 months through age 12 and their families in the DC metropolitan area.

The Del Ray Montessori School is moving into two new, permanent homes in Old Town Alexandria — less than 1.5 miles from our current location.
Our current 2026-2027 school year will begin at 100 E. Windsor Avenue with a transition to our new campuses in November. Stay tuned for more information as we prepare our new homes for DRMS!
