Amanda Hollick

Amanda is so excited to be returning to the DRMS community for her second year! Born in Chile, Amanda has lived and grown up in Washington, DC. She started on her Montessori journey as a primary student at Children’s House of Washington, in Georgetown and attributes her love of learning and desire to contribute to her community to this experience.

She earned her BA from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, majoring in Educational Studies as well as Spanish & Hispanic Studies. After college, Amanda found herself back in the Montessori world, working as an assistant for 2 years. From there she obtained her AMI certification from Washington Montessori Institute and her M.Ed from Loyola University Maryland. Amanda worked as a primary guide and is excited to continue her work supporting student development at DRMS!

Amanda enjoys many outdoor hobbies like running, hiking, biking and taking her dog, Lennon, on long walks. She plays the guitar, ukulele, and piano and loves to take on many different art endeavors.
