The Del Ray Montessori School is a non-profit Montessori School located in the quaint Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, we are associated and recognized by AMI/USA (Association Montessori International). Founded in 2011, we serve children ages 18 months through age 12 and their families in the DC metropolitan area.

Jazmine holds a Bachelor of Science in Human and Family Services with a concentration in child development from Towson University (Towson, MD). She has worked extensively with families who have experienced homelessness in efforts to aid in self-sufficiency. In doing so she has developed a passion for community outreach and often volunteers to help with turkey drives and food pantries.
Jazmine earned an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma at the primary (age 3-6) level from Washington Montessori Institute. Jazmine had the pleasure in observing and practicing at the DRMS and is elated to join the Del Ray community this upcoming school year and she looks forward to beginning her Montessori journey at this wonderful place. Teaching children has always been a dream for Jazmine. Being able to guide children as they form themselves is such a delight that anyone would be happy to indulge. Montessori gives Jazmine the perfect framework to complete her cosmic task.
Jazmine enjoys spending time with her young son, going to the pool, and trying new restaurants.
