The Del Ray Montessori School is a non-profit Montessori School located in the quaint Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, we are associated and recognized by AMI/USA (Association Montessori International). Founded in 2011, we serve children ages 18 months through age 12 and their families in the DC metropolitan area.

Tina is excited to join The Del Ray Montessori School community. A former Montessori child herself from Atlanta, GA, she brings a lifelong love of the Montessori method, inspired by her own experience growing up in the classroom.
Tina completed her 0-3 Montessori Training in San Diego and her 3-6 Montessori Training in Milwaukee. She has taught in Oklahoma City and several other communities while moving around with her partner, who serves in the Air Force.
Tina is especially excited to have her son, DJ, join her at Del Ray Montessori. At 1.5 years old, DJ will have the opportunity to experience the same joy of learning that shaped Tina's own childhood. She loves finding special and meaningful pieces from her travels to bring into the classroom and share with the children, sparking curiosity and conversation.
Outside the classroom, Tina enjoys reading, playing with Lego and Duplo, and baking sourdough bread and cookies. She and her partner also share their home with a beloved adopted chocolate lab mix.
